Mary Helena SKINNER had been married previously before 1914 to Douglas RACKLEY. They had a son, Douglas, about 1914.

WHEATON, Ernest Charles Sidney (b. 10 SEP 1920, d. 15 AUG 2003)

Note: Margaret "Peggy" SIMPSON née WHEATON, great granddaughter of Annie writes that she "was a German Jew. Therefore all children take the mother's religion". "Judaism is passed on to any children through their mother". She goes on to explain about Charles and Annie's son Ernest. "That is why Ernest is with his mother at Golders Green Jewish Cemetery and my grandmother was buried at Finchley. When I asked my father why his mother was not with his father he said because she was a Gentile and not a Jew. My father still has his father's Star of David which was given to my grandfather by his mother".

Ernest WHEATON has had numerous strokes and can neither walk or talk (2003). He has been in hospital at St Pancras for the last 15 years.
