On the 1911 census Frances is shown as having 7 children, 5 survive, 2 have died.
However, there is some confusion about the children of Dennis and Francis
On the 1901 census they had:
1) Beatrice, 2) Thomas 3) Elizabeth, 4)Lavinia, 5) Frances Rhoda and 6) an infant, later named Ida Jane, all with the surname PEGG.
On the 1911 census they had:
1) Thomas WHITE, 2) Lavinia, 3) Ida Jane, 4) Nellie, 5) John Dennis and 6) Sidney other than Thomas all PEGG. A seventh child, Frances Rhoda had died in 1902, this making 7 children, 6 surviving and 1 died.
So, where do Beatrice and Elizabeth fit in to this family? And why PEGG for Thomas in 1901, but WHITE in 1911?
On the 1901 Beatrice was shown to be born in Marylebone, London about 1890. A search has been made in FreeBMD for a Beatrice born between March 1889 and December 1891 and there were none with the names BUTLER, WHITE or PEGG
A birth for a Thomas WHITE was searched for from March 1890 - December 1894 in the Marylebone District ; there is one in June quarter 1891.
Elizabeth is shown as being born in Pimlico, I do know know the District which covers that place so have no been able to do a search.
Assistance please needed from anyone who has the answers!

"My great grandfather, David SKINNER, went into Partnership with a Mr LILLEY and founded LILLEY and SKINNER, the shoe people. MR. LILLEY bought my great grandfather's share but retained the name. It was David's daughter, Mary, who married my grandfather, Ernest WHEATON"
Mary Helena SKINNER had been married previously June quarter 1914 Hendon District, Middlesex to Douglas RACKLEY. They had a son, Douglas A J, born June quarter 1916 Hendon District, Middlesex
Information from Margaret "Peggy" SIMPSON née WHEATON

Note: Margaret "Peggy" SIMPSON née WHEATON, great granddaughter of Annie writes that she "was a German Jew. Therefore all children take the mother's religion". "Judaism is passed on to any children through their mother". She goes on to explain about Charles and Annie's son Ernest. "That is why Ernest is with his mother at Golders Green Jewish Cemetery and my grandmother was buried at Finchley. When I asked my father why his mother was not with his father he said because she was a Gentile and not a Jew. My father still has his father's Star of David which was given to my grandfather by his mother".
Ernest WHEATON has had numerous strokes and can neither walk nor talk (2003). He has been in hospital at St Pancras for the last 15 years.
