13 and Charles shown as 7 and was 10. Also shown as born Cathay, Bristol, Gloucestershire
but the name and place of birth of the mother Alice, and the names of the children all
suggest it must be the same family)

Living with them was Edward GRANT (18) Butcher born Bathleston, Somerset
1911 66 Meadow Street, Weston Super Mare, Somerset
Living with them was Morris ESELTRY (?) (18) Butcher born Blackford, Somerset
There is only one William B DAVIS birth registered 1870/1873. This is for a William Bartlett DAVIS in the June quarter of 1872 in the Newent District of Gloucestershire. There are several William DAVIS births registered in Bristol District during this period and a William Edward registered in September quarter 1871 Keynsham District, Somerset.
On the various census returns is the following information:
1881 William B age 9 Scholar
1891 Edward W age 19 Butcher
1901 Ewart age 28 Tradesman Butcher
From the ages shown it would appear to be the same child. William Bartlett DAVIS was registered June quarter 1872 as mentioned above. There were no Edward W registrations 1871 - 1873, nor Ewart registrations.
Found the baptism on Ancestry.com on the same date as his three younger brothers so definitely belongs to this family, so baptised as Edward William Bradley DAVIS (Bradley was the name of Alice DAVIS née WHEATON father so I am certain that this was his actual name).

she is down as the Butcher and he is assisting with the business
There were two George DAVIS births registered in the Bristol District, Gloucestershire in the September quarter of 1874, George Edward and George Edwin. One George E born about 1874 appears on the 1891 census but born Stow in the Wold, Gloucestershire son of George and Alice J DAVIS. Another George E DAVIS born 1875 Bristol was son of Edward and Amelia DAVIS and was living in St James Gloucestershire. So it would appear that neither of the 1874 registrations belong to this George
