The information for Bert and his brother George was sent to us by Cheryl VICKERS. I have been unable to find a birth registration for "Bert", nor details on the 1891 or 1901 census using criteria such as "BUTLER" "born 1890 +/-2" "father "William".

However, on the 1911 census, living with the family, there is a Herbert age 18.

Bur confusion still reigns!
