HUNTINGDONSHIRE AND CAMBRIDGESHIRE

The majority of the descendants of Thomas WHEATON (c1700-1754) lived in the counties of Huntingdonshire and Cambridgeshire. Between 1837 and 1930, the majority (90%) of entries in the Birth, Marriage and Death Indexes for Civil Registration for the two counties have been traced to descendants of Thomas. In 1881 approximately one third of the WHEATONs included in the Census were living in Huntingdonshire and Cambridgeshire.
