the BMD Web site there is a marriage for an Annie Elizabeth BLASTLAND December
quarter 1880 Thanet District, Kent.
However when you go to see who she married there are only two female
names and one male, a certain Alfred James DEVERSON. I have checked this on 1891 Census and he is
not married to a Annie.
I
then searched on Ancestry.com for an Annie born in Ramsgate, Kent, (as that was
where she was born) at the age of 29, which should have been her age on the
1891 Census. Only one name came up, and she had an initial E as her second
name. This therefore is possibly the right person.
Ancestry.com
has the family down as PATTY, with the head an Alfred T PATTY, but looking at
the actual Census I am not at all happy that this is the correct name, it looks
more like PETLY to me. I have spent some time on the IGI 1881 Census trying to
find an Alfred and Annie PATTY and lots of variants of that without success. At
present I have not entered anything else on my website for Annie other than
this footnote. Hopefully someone will have some more information on this
family.

On the 1881 and 1891 Census for Eliza she is shown as being born in St
Peters.
