We have been working on updating this file for several months,
still not completed but I thought I would upload it now just in case
something happens to the computer and I lose all the information!
We have been able to include in the Thomas WHEATON/Ann SPARROW line
the family of John WHEATON/Sarah CLARK who went to America in the
1840s.

The 1911 census was available this
January. I have collected some of the information and the
information for those families has been up-dated. However,
there are about 794 WHEATONs listed at present (Northumberland and
Wales for example not included at the moment). It costs about
£1 to look up an individual. Sometimes I am lucky and they are
living at home with several other WHEATONs. Other times they
are lodgers or boarders which means £1 a person. And there's my
other families....so it might be some years before I manage to
complete collecting all the details from the 1911 census!

Spelling of a mother's name meant I had 4 generations in an unattached
family.
Now I have the correct spelling all have been included in one of the larger
groups....great!
I have now included some other
families, families that I believe usually used
another spelling of the WHEATON name, so maybe there
will be no successes
with these. We shall see!
